We connect shoots with digital imaging technicians (DITs) and data wranglers for shoots in Iceland — the people who protect the footage from card to verified backup. The DIT's role carries extra weight in the country: locations are remote, weather closes in fast, and a glacier or Highlands setup cannot casually be revisited, so secure, verified data running is mission-critical.

Here is the short of it. Our DITs run on-set offload, checksummed spares, redundancy and colour-pipeline support, and they plan for the practical realities — power running on units running far from mains, cold-weather handling of drives and media, and dust and meltwater protection. They work closely with the camera department and post, delivering well-ordered, verified media and reports. For multi-camera or multi-unit shoots we supplement the Reykjavík pool with DITs from the UK and mainland Europe.

Here is the breakdown. Iceland's appeal — its remote, dramatic, hard-to-reach locations — is exactly what makes data security non-negotiable.
